Still retaining its position as world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome, Pantheon of Rome signifies major achievements in technology and imagination. As a connection between outside and inside, oculus (the circular opening) in the dome is the passage for the magnificent light that creates the atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
